Elizabeth Glen. high and impassioned- The Times
She teaches students in all vocal disciplines including classical, musical theatre, pop and jazz. Her teaching ethos is to give a solid technical base for each voice she trains, and to encourage each student to develop their individual sound. Each voice is unique and the beauty and individuality of each voice will be developed, rather than creating a unified sound that identifies as student as having been taught by one particular voice teacher.
Elizabeth has always combined her joy of performing with a passion for sharing the ability to sing with others. She has taught singing in the private and public sector since soon after she first graduated from the GSM&D, and continued her teaching there even between concert tours when she was performing professionally abroad. Her students have gone on to continue their vocal studies at prestigious further education institutions including The Birmingham Conservatoire, The Welsh College of Music & Drama, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, Mountview Musical Theatre Academy, and Southampton, Manchester and Birmingham Universities.
